WHO WE ARE
SVA Holdings is an asset protection and risk management company. We focus on your entire business, from human resources and finance to operations and environmental influences, through to business relationships and reputation management in order to identify further opportunities for success.
The divisions within SVA Holdings are not only complimentary to one another but are also individually unique - offering a specialised set of solutions which enable a holistic approach to supporting your business.
With more than 50 years of cumulative experience in the industry, covering everything from corporate governance and telematics to forensic investigations, our team of experts offers agility, speed and customised solutions that work with you, for you.
WHAT WE DO
You know your business better than anyone, we only aim to support you in achieving success, quickly and efficiently. We examine organisational objectives and identify any factors hindering their achievement. We assess the current control measures and offer customised solutions that allow you to achieve those objectives.
We assess each department’s inputs and outputs and the associated risks and then combine these with external influences beyond our control, such as political, legislative and governmental impacts. This allows us to identify possible barriers to success and support you in overcoming them.
Other organisations may offer comprehensive audits but they are largely based on historical information. We bring you current and more relevant information in real-time, to support you in getting where you need to be, right now.
Our patented INFOMAN technology tells us when there is a challenge, where it is, who needs to fix it and when this can be achieved. This speedy delivery of relevant data makes you more efficient and productive.
Continuous change is the only way to adapt and succeed in the complex South African business landscape. We like to use the eagle as both a source of inspiration and a metaphor for our approach to change for a variety of reasons.
The eagle has the longest life-span among birds. It can live up to 70 years, but to reach this age, the eagle must make a tough decision.
In its 40s, the eagle’s long and flexible talons can no longer grab the prey that serves as food; its long, sharp beak becomes bent; its old and heavy wings become stuck to its chest, making it difficult to fly. The eagle is left with only two options: to die or to go through a painful process of change, which lasts for 150 days.
The process of change requires the eagle to knock its beak and talons against rocks to sharpen them and pluck out its thick feathers. After five long months, it takes its famous flight of rebirth and lives for an additional 30 years.
So, why is change needed?
Often, in order to survive we have to start a change process. Sometimes we need to rid ourselves of old memories, habits and past traditions. Only once we are free of these burdens, can we truly live in the present. Within SVA Holdings, change allows us to expand the way in which we see things and in which solutions are offered to our valued clients.
